Objectives
The skills acquired in this Master's degree enable students to carry out exhaustive analyses of EU institutions, policies and relations, particularly those projected towards Latin America, which is why it is of great scientific and professional interest. One of its distinctive and particularly relevant elements is the perspective adopted in terms of the rapprochement of the European and Latin American integration processes, which leads to an enrichment of training and a multiplication of opportunities and employability possibilities for future graduates.
Competencies and skills
G1 - Ability to critically analyse complex problems and apply knowledge to argue soundly, solve new problems and adapt to new situations, as well as to be original in the development and application of ideas, often in a research context.
G2 - Ability to communicate and transmit an idea clearly and systematically, both orally and in writing, to specialised and expert or non-specialised audiences, as well as to project the knowledge, skills and abilities acquired in the promotion of a society based on the values of freedom, equality, justice and pluralism.
G3 - Ability to search for and handle different sources of information, selecting, analysing and synthesising the most relevant and useful elements for the intended purpose, as well as using new technologies in research.

E1 - Ability to understand in depth the main institutions of the European Union, as well as the different Community policies.
E2 - Ability to know the legal sources, the databases of legislation and jurisprudence of the European Union, as well as the different economic data and reports.
E3 - Ability to understand the relationships between the various actors in the process of political, legal and economic integration: Member States and candidate countries, Community and international institutions, national operators, lobbies, political parties at national and European level, citizens' associations and other professional groups, etc.
E4 - Ability to analyse the complex phenomena taking place in the European Union and the legal, economic and political interactions, as well as their possible repercussions on third States or other supranational and international institutions.
E5 - Ability to analyse and critically assess the role that the European Union plays in the international sphere, in relation to other centres of political and economic power in the world.
E6 - Ability to manage with skill, fluency and reliability the information coming from the European Union and/or linked to its own contents. This includes the search for, handling and presentation of relevant information from different sources, as well as the use of the necessary ICT tools.
E7 - Ability to handle the essential rudiments and skills to start academic research.
