Main professional opportunities

From a professional point of view, it prepares students to work in the European Union institutions, as well as in the national, regional and local administration in their relations with the European Union.

It also trains professionals for the private sector, professional offices, consultancy firms, companies with international links, etc... A guarantee of this is the presence of a compulsory External Work Placement subject (which can be validated by the accreditation of professional experience in the field of EU policies).

The content of the programme is also suitable for preparing, with real possibilities of success, for one of the different competitive examinations for the civil servants and agents of the extensive administration of the European Union.

Likewise, taking this Master's degree allows access to training as doctoral students for those students who are planning to write their doctoral thesis on the European Union, and enables them to continue their second phase of research at the Institute of European Studies.
